Description

The first wash from the SFIVA herbal garden. It carries the botanicals of our hair oil — red onion, kalonji and rosemary — in a soft cleanse built on plant-derived glucosides and the traditional trio of reetha, shikakai and amla. It lifts oil, sweat and build-up without stripping the scalp, and leaves hair clean, light and easy to comb.

How it is made. The herbs are steeped slowly in warm water and filtered into an aloe vera base. The gentle cleansers are folded in cold, so the botanicals keep their character; the blend is balanced to a scalp-friendly, mildly acidic pH and rested before it is filled into an emerald glass bottle that keeps the light out.

Made without sulphates (SLS/SLES), parabens, silicones, mineral oil or synthetic colour.

Apply to wet hair and massage into the scalp for a minute. Rinse well and follow with SFIVA Herbal Conditioner. Avoid contact with the eyes; if it happens, rinse with water. Patch-test first if your skin is sensitive. Store below 30°C, away from direct sun.

Yes. Oil the scalp and lengths an hour or more before washing (or overnight), then wash with the Herbal Shampoo and follow with the Herbal Conditioner. The Hair & Scalp Serum is for the evenings in between.

No — SFIVA hair care is cosmetic, not a medicine. It cleanses, softens and cares for the scalp and hair. If you are losing hair suddenly or in patches, please see a dermatologist.
